The design focuses on the renovation of a currently unutilised telecommunications building in connection with the urban concept of the area to a multi-purpose building with rentable commercial and administrative premises and apartments. The solution provided is at the regulatory edge of the zoning plan of Slovakia’s capital Bratislava with the maximum utilisation of the given features of the plot and the existing object, as well as the requirements in terms of lighting conditions. The individual blocks are segmented also in terms of their height and disposition: the lower four-storey objects are designed as corridor buildings; the higher eight-storey objects as staircase buildings.
